In Assassins Creed 2 you play as an Italian man you takes revenge for his fathers death and betrayal. Before his fathers death he discovers that he is part of a group of Assassins that are at war with another group called the templars. After killing the man responsible for his fathers death he finds himself caught between in the war between the two groups while trying to finish his fathers life time work.

Review (Not to Much Detail In This Review)
If I had to rate this game on a scale of 1-5, I would give it a 4. The game is great but when you exit the animus the graphics on the people lower. I have passed the game and eventually you could get Altiers armor and sword (he is the assassin from the first game) Another great feature is that you can manage your own city for money. You also can find chests, loot bodies, buy equipment from stores (I think that is a huge boost in the gameplay), and do jobs for money. Overall, great game.
